MYMP Guitarist Chin Alcantara Now a Delivery Rider of His Own Business

MYMP guitarist Chin Alcantara is now working as a delivery rider of his own food business amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Over the past few months, the coronavirus disease continues to spread in various countries all around the world. The disease does not only affect the public’s health but also the global economy.

A lot of employees in different companies and private businesses lost their jobs and livelihoods due to the pandemic. Musicians are also affected by the health crisis and even lost their gigs.

The founder and lead guitarist of M.Y.M.P. (Make Your Momma Proud), Chin Alcantara has started a food business “Chin Shao Tea” to provide the financial necessities of his family amid the health crisis in the country.

Chin ventured into a food business by making his own milk tea in June 2020 but experienced some problems. The musician has no delivery rider as he started his food business and decided to personally deliver their products to the customers.

“Sabi ko, ‘Sige ako muna ‘yung magra-rider habang wala pa tayong rider. Sinimulan namin sa June, ako na mismo nag-deliver sa mga milk tea,” Alcantara said during an interview.
