Diwata Responds to Ogie Diaz’s Comments
DIWATA – The social media personality and entrepreneur reacted to Ogie Diaz’s comment about the food served at his eatery, which allegedly did not suit the taste of Ogie’s friend.
It was recently mentioned in Ogie’s YouTube video that a colleague had tried the food at Diwata’s eatery and did not find it to their taste. However, Ogie clarified that taste preferences vary from person to person.
After media inquiries about the issue, Diwata stated that there was no problem with the comment. He explained that it shouldn’t be a big deal if some people do not like the food they serve. “Pwede naman silang maghanap ng ibang kainan na mas pasok sa kanilang panlasa,” he said.
Furthermore, Diwata added that it was not his intention to force people to eat at his eatery. Instead, he simply offers an option for those who want to try his food products. His eatery, known as ‘Diwata Pares Overload’, is popular with many and continues to attract customers from various places. Additionally, his establishment is also a favorite destination for vloggers wanting to try his pares.
As of press time, Ogie Diaz has yet to respond to the statement of the social media personality and pares vendor.
While some fans think that certain content creators are just exploiting Diwata’s current popularity, Diwata himself has defended these creators, stating that they have actually helped promote his business without asking for any money.
“Hindi ko iniisip na ginagawa ako gatasan kasi in the first place wala naman silang hiningi sa akin na pera, bagkusa nakakatulong pa sila sa’kin para i-vlog para dumami ang customer, dumami ang makakita para makilala ang Diwata pares,” he explained. Nonetheless, some fans advised Diwata to be cautious about the company he keeps, reminding him that his social media fame might not last forever.
