Linda Marie Gorton Clarifies Issues Regarding Dennis Padilla’s Interview
LINDA MARIE GORTON – The ex-partner of Dennis Padilla took to the social media platform Instagram to address some issues raised in Dennis’ online interview with Aster Amoyo, particularly regarding the financial support he provides for their children and their separation.
Linda Marie Gorton expressed frustration over the inconsistent child support provided by Dennis Padilla, noting frequent delays and inadequacies in the payments. She has had to frequently request support and personally compensate for the deficiencies, despite also working. Linda also questioned Dennis’s description of these expenses as ‘madugo,’ asserting they were normal costs for the children, similar to those during their time together.
In her post, which gained significant attention online, Linda highlighted that the support from Dennis does not go far due to the higher cost of living in Australia compared to the Philippines. “In fact, the support he gives to the children, when spent here, lumiliit na kasi the actual cost of living in Australia is far more expensive compared to the Philippines,” she noted.
Linda Marie Gorton clarified that her separation from Dennis Padilla was not solely due to misunderstandings or financial problems. She remained in the relationship for nearly twelve years, motivated by her desire to maintain a complete family for their children. However, she acknowledged that despite her efforts, not all desires in life can be fulfilled. As of press time, Dennis has yet to respond to the statement of his ex-partner.
Aside from Linda Marie Gorton, Dennis Padilla also has three children with his former wife Marjorie Barretto. His daughter, Julia Barretto, is a well-known actress in the Philippines, noted for her significant roles in television and film. His other daughter, Claudia Barretto, has chosen a path in music and is recognized for her singing talent, while his son, Leon Barretto, maintains a more private life compared to his sisters.
