Rama revealed that her son has been staying in her house for one month now along with the actor’s children.

ANNABELLE RAMA – The mother of Richard Gutierrez seemed to have confirmed the breakup of her son and his wife, Sarah Lahbati.
The couple is rumored to have broken up after being absent from their respective posts on social media. Sarah was even absent during Annabelle’s birthday celebration last October 2023, as well as during the baptism of his brother Rocky’s daughter, Athena.
This speculation gained traction after Richard was romantically linked to “Abot Kamay na Pangarap” star Kazel Kinouchi. The rumors started after they were captured together at Ayala Alabang last Halloween. In the photos, Richard, accompanied by his children Zion and Kai, was spotted riding a white pickup truck, with Kazel allegedly emerging from the vehicle. However, Kazel refuted the rumors linking her and Richard. In a TikTok live session, she emphasized that she and Richard are just neighbors.
In an interview with MJ Felipe of ABS-CBN News, Annabelle Rama has been staying at her home in Quezon City. According to her, Richard will transfer his stuff from the actor’s house in Alabang after Christmas.
“Si Richard, nasa bahay ko ngayon, one month na. Pero unti-unti siyang lumilipat ng gamit sa Alabang. Lilipat na siya after Christmas,” she said. “Hindi pa ako puwede magsalita, e, pero sasabihin ko sa yo — si Richard na sa akin ngayon,” she added. Annabelle said that Sarah Lahbati’s children with the actor are under the latter’s custody.
In the same interview, Annabelle said Sarah would not be present as they celebrate Christmas and New Year in Japan. “Sama-sama buong pamilya ko… minus one lang,” she said. When asked if she and Sarah are not on good terms, she said, “Hindi ko siya kinakausap. Wala akong time makipag-usap sa kanya.”
While Annabelle gave some hints that their breakup might have something to do with finances, Sarah has yet to react to Annabelle’s revelation. However, only the couple knows the cause of their alleged breakup. It can be recalled that on March 14, 2020, Richard and Sarah tied the knot in an intimate civil wedding ceremony in Taguig City Satellite Office.
