Paolo Contis reveals his biggest fear
PAOLO CONTIS – The Kapuso actor-comedian revealed that is biggest fear is being hated by his daughters.
It was just recently when he appeared in the Fast Talk With Boy Abunda. During the interview, Paolo couldn’t help but turn emotional while talking about his estranged daughters.
The actor-comedian has three daughters. He has two kids with estranged wife Lian Paz namely Xonia and Xalene. He has another child with ex-live in partner, LJ Reyes named Summer.
According to Paolo, his failed relationships entail a long time of “healing” and “forgiveness.” He also stressed that he lack maturity at the time. “Feeling ko kasi, bata pa ako. Actually, last year lang, naisip ko, thirty-nine [39] na ako, hah! Parang ang tanda ko na para magkamali nang ganito so I’m fixing it,” he said.
When asked about not supporting his children with Lian, he did not deny it. However, he has his reasons. “I have some savings for them that, hopefully, one day, I could give them straight,” he said.
Paolo also did not contradict Boy Abunda’s observation that he has no close relationship with his children, especially since they have not seen each other in a long time. The comedian said that the last time he saw Xonia and Xalene was six to seven years ago while Summer was almost two years ago. Despite being apart, he still love his kids.
In the last part of his interview, he revealed that his biggest fear is being hated by his children. “Hopefully, it will come. Maybe, I have no idea, pero that’s my biggest fear… is for them to actually hate me,” he said.
