Lian Paz remembers 2012 Christmas wishlist for children
LIAN PAZ – The former dancer recalled how she raised her two children without the support of her former partner Paolo Contis.
On Instagram, Lian shared her 2012 Christmas wishlist for her daughters Xonia and Xalene. Based on her post, she was requesting for ‘diapers’ for her children.
Fortunately, the Lord did not abandon her. Eventually, she met John Cabahug who has been her partner in life until now.
“10 years ago.. Yung panahon na ako lang mag isa sa lahat kaya ito ang mga wishlist ko.. noon ang daming worries, I was angry at God kaya hindi ako nagtiwala sa kanya. I did things my way and it led me to things I regret looking back,” she said.
“But just 1 day, I decided to call on him for help and he changed my life! (This was a month before I met @johncabahug87) It was not an easy path but his mercy and grace keeps on pouring, one day at a time until today, God, I love you! Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for your mercy and grace! You are AMAZING!” she added.
At the time, Paolo filed an annulment against Lian, and the actor allegedly has not provided support for his children since. Lian stated in an interview with Pep.ph that Paolo did not fulfill their agreement to provide financial assistance to their children.
Lian regretted not suing Paolo during those times. She said: “Nung sinunod ko siya, akala ko, okay. Pero mas maganda na idinaan ko na sa lawyer pala.”
Meanwhile, the law forbids a parent from failing to support his children.
