RENDON LABADOR – The so-called motivational speaker reacted to the viral rant of actor Dennis Padilla against a seafood restaurant.

It was just recently when Dennis took to social media to complain about a seafood restaurant in Seaside in Pasay City because of the expensive prices of food and drinks there.

In an Instagram post, the comedian revealed their bill reached as much as P38,868. Among they ordered were fruit shake worth P450 and lobster for P5,500 per kilo. Because of this, the comedian appealed to the Department of Tourism to visit the establishments in Seaside.

His post went viral garnering mixed reactions from the netizens and among those who commented is motivational speaker Rendon Labador.

Labador is wondering why most Filipinos tend to order at fancy restaurants without knowing the price of their menu first. He stressed that a customer is not always right. He added that the customers should also be fair to businessmen.

In his reaction to Dennis’s rant, Rendon cited a similar incident which made headlines before. It was in August this year when an island in Panglao, Bohol called Virgin Island made a buzz earlier after a netizen shared that her friend was charged over 26,000 pesos in a seafood “paluto”.

But the vendor denied that there was overpricing. Apparently, the damage has been done. All the tourist activities on the island have been suspended and the stalls were removed by the local government unit.
