Here’s the response of Janno Gibbs to a basher who called him “clout chaser”
JANNO GIBBS – The singer was called a “clout chaser” following his comment on the viral post of Dennis Padilla.
Dennis has been making a buzz online due to his social media posts about his kids, especially on Father’s Day.
Days later, his son Leon Barretto broke his silence and told his father not to resort to “public shaming.”
In the latest post of Dennis before he took it down anew, Janno could not help but comment.
The singer-actor only left emojis in the comment section but a netizen has taken it out of context and even called him “clout chaser.”
This prompted Janno to reply: “You have zero followers. I have 365k. Who needs clout more?”
Another netizen commented: “The ultimate enabler ng abusive parent ka rin sir no?”
Janno got pissed off with the comment.
“Tara***do na ah! May sinabi ba ako? Pinagtanggol ko ba si Dennis? (prayer and heart emoji) yan ang comment ko. If I an an enabler, you’re an idiot,” he said.
Meanwhile, Janno Ronaldo Ilagan Gibbs is a singer-songwriter, actor, and comedian.
He started out in showbiz in the year 1986 as one of the members of the teen variety show That’s Entertainment which premiered on GMA Network.
He has several television shows like Eat Bulaga!, SOP, Party Pilipinas, Sunday All Stars, Nuts Entertainment, Ober Da Bakod and Beh Bote Nga.
But after being with GMA Network for 30 years, he decided to move to TV5.
In 2018, he transfered to Kapamilya Network and reunited with his former SOP colleague Regine Velasquez, and his long-time best friend Ogie Alcasid
Then, he moved to Net 25 for his comedy variety show Happy Time, with fellow comedian Kit Kat and Anjo Yllana.
