According to Mon, the Philippines’ response to the pandemic seemed to be “manok na pugot ulo.”

If he were to grade the government’s COVID-19 response, |On a record of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest, number four.”

Mon Tulfo has been noted for his to President Rodrigo Duterte. In fact, he was given the position of special envoy to China under the present administration.

Tulfo also added that the president must be open to public about his condition.

“Kailangan malaman ng taumbayan na nandoon ‘yung liderato. Otherwise, para tayong barko na rudderless, walang timon.”

Meanwhile, rumors surfaced recently that Duterte is not doing well after he was absent on his scheduled public address last week.

Eventually, photos of the president busy doing lots of paperwork as well as jogging and motorcycle riding on Malacañang grounds surfaced online.

According to him, “Talagang sinadya ko yun, ganun ako eh.”

On the other hand, Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque stressed that Duterte does not need to publicize that he is doing his job.
