Carlo Aquino: “Ang dami pang mas mahalagang puwede gawin kaysa magkalat ng fake news”
Carlo Aquino chides former broadcaster Jay Sonza over rumor involving his friend Gerald Anderson who allegedly got actress Julia Barretto pregnant.
Recently, Jay Sonza’s Facebook post became the talk on social media after he announced that Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla’s daughter is pregnant with Gerald’s baby.
According to the former broadcaster, “may nabuo sa sinapupunan ni Julia” a few months after “love lockdown.”
In support of his friend, actor Carlo Aquino posted on social media a statement addressed to Jay Sonza.
Gerald Anderson and Carlo Aquino became close after working together in the hit teleserye “A Soldier’s Heart.”
According to his Instagram story which was retrieved by PEP.ph: “Ang dami pang mas mahalagang puwede gawin kaysa magkalat ng fake news.”
Meanwhile, Julia Barretto and her parents Marjorie Barretto and Dennis Padilla have reacted to the rumor spread by Jay Sonza.
Marjorie says the former broadcaster’s allegations are baseless.
In a statement, Dennis said that he has no plans to sue Jay in connection with the spread of rumors about his daughter.

Julia Barretto’s name began to be associated with Gerald Anderson in 2018 in the wake of the actor’s separation from his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo.
On the other hand, Gerald Anderson was also linked to the breakup of Julia and Joshua Garcia. But the two insisted that there was no third-party involved in their separation.
