Dennis Padilla aired a statement addressed to broadcaster Jay Sonza who earlier claimed that the actor’s daughter Julia Barretto is pregnant.
Recently, the former broadcaster made headlines after he claimed that the 23-year-old actress is pregnant with Gerald Anderson’s child.
“Dito muna tayo sa mga balitang may katotohanan, may pag-iibigan, may pinagsaluhang nakakapanginig ng laman at higit sa lahat, nagbunga,” Jay Sonza said in his post.
“Congratulations sa aking kapitbahay sa Congressional Village, Bahay Toro, Quezon City. Napatunayan nina Visoy (visayan tisoy) Gerald Anderson at anak nina Dennis Padilla at Marjorie na si Julia Barreto na kapuwa hindi sila baog,” he stressed.

Meanwhile, according to Dennis Padilla via an article published by ABS-CBN News, he was on set of his new project when he learned about the issue.
He then gave a message addressed to Jay Sonza.
“Ang gusto kong sabihin kay Kuya Jay, ‘Kuya Jay, bago ka sana nag-comment ng ganun, sana tinawagan mo naman ako o kaya tinanong mo kay Marjorie o kaya mag-text ka sa kung sino man ang malapit kay Julia para malaman kung totoo or hindi,” Dennis noted.
“Kasi parang ang pagkabitaw ni Jay Sonza, parang casual. Hindi siya news type. Siguro ang kulang ni Kuya Jay doon is coordination sa mga magulang at sa bata,” the comedian added.
Dennis Padilla stressed that it won’t settle for a legal action but he hopes Sonza will soon issue an apology.
Meanwhile, his ex-wife Marjorie Barretto has issued a statement to refute pregnancy rumors involving her daughter.
