A Twitter user was reported by Jim Paredes to the NBI for selling private videos of older men
JIM PAREDES – The legendary OPM singer reported a Twitter user to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for selling private videos of older men.
Paredes is a member of the legendary OPM group, APO Hiking Society, or simply APO.
It began at the Ateneo de Manila high school in 1969, with 15 members: John Paul Micayabas, Lito de Joya, Sonny Santiago, Gus Cosio, Renato Garcia, Chito Kintanar, Kenny Barton, Bruce Brown, Butch Dans, Kinjo Sawada, Ric Segreto Macaraeg, Goff Macaraeg, Doden Besa, Jim Paredes, and Boboy Garovillo.
The majority of its members left after graduation to pursue individual careers. It now only has three members left.
They are behind the hit songs; Panalangin, Ewan, Mahirap Magmahal Ng Syota Ng Iba, When I Met You, Pumapatak Ang, Batang-Bata Ka Pa, Awit ng Barkada, Doo Bidoo and to name a few.
Meanwhile, Jim Paredes reported a Twitter user to the NBI for selling private videos of older men, mostly Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
The singer took to Twitter, where he posted a screenshot of his conversation with the netizen, telling the latter that he had already reported the user’s phone number to the NBI and the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC).
“Nakareport a number mo sa NTC at NBI. At this very moment kausap namin so Commissioner Gamaliel Cordoba. Nagsamasama kami. Hintayin mo,” he wrote.
The Twitter user then apologized to him.
Apparently, it seems that the Twitter user’s account has already been deactivated.
It can be recalled that it was in 2019 when Jim Paredes was victimized by individuals spreading his private video.
