Rendon Labador on Vice Ganda and Ion Perez: “If ever, sa Manila Zoo dapat sila ikulong”

For Rendon Labador, if Vice Ganda and Ion Perez were to be imprisoned, they should be held at the Manila Zoo

RENDON LABADOR – The motivational speaker has reacted to Atty. Mark Tolentino’s statement regarding potential legal actions the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) may take against “It’s Showtime.”

According to Atty. Tolentino, the people involved with the pressing issue of “It’s Showtime” could not only face suspension but also serious criminal charges that may lead to imprisonment for three months to one year. He emphasized that if they fail to provide a satisfactory explanation, the show might be suspended or even terminated due to its allegedly indecent and immoral content.

“Kung hindi nila ma-explain ng maayos ‘yan, pwedeng ma-suspend ang show or kung hindi man ma-suspend, pwedeng ma-terminate and otherwise, may criminal aspect pa ‘yan,” he said. “Kung sino ang maging liable, mayroong kulong pa ‘yan na three months hanggang one year plus may fine pa na up to 100,000 pesos sa mga indecent at immoral show na nangyari lalo na sa isang noontime show,” he added.

Rendon Labador expressed his own opinion on the matter and suggested an unusual solution. He proposed that the two hosts involved in the controversy, Vice and Ion, should be placed on display at the Manila Zoo, so that children could still see them. “If ever, sa Manila Zoo dapat sila ikulong para matuwa ang mga bata,” said Rendon.

To recall, It’s Showtime hosts Vice Ganda and Ion Perez made headlines after the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) raised concerns about their actions during the Isip Bata segment of the show.
