GHIE PANGILINAN – The online seller who started out with seven thousand pesos (P7000) capital is now a successful businesswoman.

Rogelyn “Ghie” Pangilinan, a former Overseas Filipino worker (OFW) and online seller, shared her inspiring journey on an episode of My Puhunan. Ghie has successfully built her beauty products company, later expanding into the food business and real estate. Today, she serves as the chief executive officer of her group of companies, enjoying the fruits of her labor with expensive cars and a dream house under construction.

According to Ghie, she started her online soap business with a capital of PHP7,000. Through positive customer reviews, her product gained attention and gradually expanded. Her brand, Skin Magical, now offers over 100 beauty products.

Despite having a background in Computer Science, Ghie became a housewife and worked as a clerk while her husband, Jerry, worked as a seaman. In 2009, Ghie briefly worked as a secretary in Dubai but returned home to be with her four children.

Driven by the growth of her business, Ghie asked Jerry to join her, recognizing the importance of their collaboration. Ghie’s journey of success is reflected in her LinkedIn profile, where she highlights the expansion of her product line, which now includes cosmetics, real estate, and more. Ghie’s company, with its core values of integrity and accountability, aims to provide safe, effective, and affordable products to consumers.

With her own manufacturing plant, Ghie produces 100,000 bottles of toner daily. She has 1,000 distributors nationwide and enjoys a strong presence among OFWs. Meanwhile, My Puhunan also showcased Ghie’s luxurious cars and the ongoing construction of her two-story dream house on a spacious lot.
