A delivery rider was called out by the seller for possibly eating the skin of a lechon he delivered to a customer
LECHON SKIN – A business owner took to social media wherein she expressed her frustration and disappointment to a delivery rider for possibly eating the skin of the lechon the latter delivered.
Lechon is a traditional dish that is popular in many parts of the world, particularly in the Philippines, Spain, and Latin America. It refers to a whole roasted pig that is typically stuffed with herbs and spices and cooked over an open flame.
The preparation of lechon can vary depending on the region and culture but generally involves cleaning and seasoning the pig, roasting it on a spit or over an open fire, and then serving it with various accompaniments such as rice, vegetables, and dipping sauces.
In the Philippines, lechon is often served at festive occasions and celebrations, such as weddings, birthdays, and fiestas, and is considered a culinary centerpiece of the table. Many consider that the most enticing part of any lechon is the skin, probably because of its unique texture and flavor. This might have prompted a delivery rider to consume them.
Recently, Alice Villagracia II took to social media wherein she called out a delivery rider who probably ate the skin of the lechon she delivered to a customer. According to her, she was the one who packed the food and even add additional skin.
To her surprise, the customer told her that the skin might have been eaten by the rider. Alice said that it was the very first time she experienced as such being a lechon business owner for two years already.
