Renters Leave Garbage in Van: Businesswoman Expresses Disappointment
GARBAGE VAN? – A businesswoman expressed her disappointment after a group that rented her van left behind their garbage inside the vehicle. In a Facebook post, Jers Dela Cruz reminded the renters and clients that they had rented the van for comfortable transportation, not as a garbage can.
Dela Cruz emphasized that the rental was not in a squatter’s area and expected the vehicle to be returned in a clean condition, with at least some level of cleanliness and respect. According to her, they should have addressed any concerns about cleanliness during the trip itself and not used the excuse of having many belongings or additional items to neglect cleaning.
As the operator and owner, Dela Cruz felt deeply affected by the lack of courtesy shown by the group towards her van. She explained that the van was not just a vehicle to them but a significant part of their daily lives and livelihood. They put effort into maintaining and beautifying it, considering it as part of their family, and seeing it in such a state was disheartening.
Dela Cruz mentioned that the group who rented her van were from Baguio City.

Posting for awareness.
Clean as you go. Nirentahan nyo ang sasakyan pero hindi para gawin basurahan, walang masama maging marumi ang sasakyan dahil part po ito ng service pero sana wag naman ganto na halos kulang nalang babuyin po ang sasakyan.
Hindi po tayo sa squatters area nagrerent, yung sasakyan po natin dinatnan nyo ng malinis sana ay iwan nyo din po ng kahit konting linis after rent na may ksama pagpapahalaga sa sasakyan.
Kung talaga po may concern tayo sa sasakyan nasa byahe palang po ay marunong na tayo mag- kumpuni ng kalat natin wag po natin gawin excuse ang madaming dala, hindi na kaya maglinis,
first and foremost papunta palang alam niyo na madami kayo dala what more pa pauwi kung my mga bibilin kayo additional stuffs.
Bilang operator/owner kahit driver pa masakit samin makita ginanto nyo ang van namin bakit? Kasi ang turing na namin diyan anak parte na araw araw namin buhay at pamilya na nillinisan, inaayusan, pinapaliguan at pinapaganda tapos ganyan lang madadatnan namin? Try to be considerate nalang sa nagpaparenta hindi ibig sabihin na nagrenta kayo ay parang nabili nyo na ng buo ang sasakyan.
Kung ako ng drive neto hindi kayo mkakababa ng van kung di nyo ppulutin yan ako mglalgay sa mga bag nyo.”
