A former bus conductor in the Philippines is now making a name for himself in the US as an owner of car rental serving Hollywood celebrities.
According to a certain Felix, it was his very dream to raise his family out of poverty.
What made him persevere in life is that during his high school days, he visited his classmate’s house and found out that what they have is way far from what they possess.
He then started working as a bus conductor but earning only 10-15 pesos daily at the time.
Eventually, he met a certain friend who motivated him not to lose hope.
He tried to work aboard a ship, then, an opportunity came in which he’s able to work in the US.
In order to start his business, he invested all of his savings, and fortunately, his car rental service went well.
Among his clients/passengers were some of the famous Hollywood celebrities like Patti Austin, Simon Cowell, and Captain America Chris Evans.
“Basta ‘wag kang mag-give up. Aim high,” he said.
Meanwhile, his life story will be featured this coming Sunday in the top-rating magazine show, Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho.
