Janine is an actress, television host, commercial model, and singer. She was a former actress of GMA Network. It was just last year when she transfered to ABS-CBN, albeit the absence of its fresh, legislative franchise.

Janine is the daughter of Ramon Christopher Gutierrez and Lotlot de Leon. Her paternal grandparents are Pilita Corrales and Eddie Gutierrez while her biological maternal grandparents are Donald Olson and Eva Rodriguez. On the other hand, her adoptive maternal grandparents are Christopher de Leon and Nora Aunor.

Recently, she went to the microblogging site, Twitter wherein she shared a funny experience. According to her, someone mistaken her as daughter of certain Maricel.

It happened during the taping of her show. She told the latter whom he’s referring to between Maricel Laxa and Maricel Soriano. Here’s her tweet:

Meanwhile, Janine Gutierrez stars in the romantic comedy thriller drama television series Dirty Linen. It is directed by Andoy Ranay. It also stars with Francine Diaz, Seth Fedelin, Zanjoe Marudo, Jennica Garcia, Christian Bables, Tessie Tomas, Joel Torre, Janice de Belen, Angel Aquino, John Arcilla, Justin Rick Alonzo, Xyriel Manabat and, Raven Rigor.

It was on January 23 when the series premiered on the Kapamilya Channel’s Primetime Bida evening block, A2Z, TV5, and worldwide via The Filipino Channel after replacing Flower of Evil.

It centers on the story of four househelpers who worked for a renowned aristocratic family and inexplicably disappeared one by one, leaving no trace. Meanwhile, four people are out to execute horrible retaliation against the prestigious family.
