Will Raffy Tulfo run for president in the 2028 elections?
RAFFY TULFO – The senator reacted when asked if he’s going to run for president in the 2028 elections.
Tulfo is considered one of the most popular broadcast journalists in the country. He became known as the “Hari ng public service” because of his program “Wanted sa Radyo.”
He’s also famous on the video-sharing platform, YouTube thanks to his channel, “Raffy Tulfo in Action” which has over 23 million subscribers. In the previous election, he landed the third senatorial spot with more than 23 million votes.
Although he has only been sitting as a legislator for a few months, many praised the senator. But does Tulfo have a chance to run for a higher position in the next election?
It was just recently when Tulfo had the chance to talk with Senator Loren Legarda via RTIA. The two talked about her advocacies as well as the 2028 elections.
This was after the netizen commented that his vote for Legarda and Tulfo in the previous election was worth it. The netizen even said that Legarda should run for president in 2028.
Legarda immediately gave her opinion about the presidential elections. She said she has no intention of running for a higher position in the next few years. “Wala po akong hilig, wala po akong balak. Ang pinagbuklod po sa akin ng Diyos sa akin ay makabalik sa Senado sa pang-apat na termino,” she said.
Tulfo, on the other hand, said that he’s not thinking of running for president in 2028 as well. He said: “Yung sinabi mo na wala kang balak, pareho tayo. Pareho tayong walang balak for higher office.”
