The “unprovoked attacks” of Lolit against Bea using Instagram and other platforms started when Alonzo, a premium artist of ABS-CBN, transferred to GMA Network last July 2021.

Since then, Lolit, 75, has been throwing banters against the 35-year-old actress whether on her career, love life and even her physical appearance.

In an Instagram post on October 9, 2022, Lolit claimed that the camp of Bea Alonzo consulted a “lawyer” due to her tirades against the actress.

Then, she shared that received “grave threats” and “bashing” from the supporters of the actress.

In an exclusive interview with PEP.ph, Shirley Kuan or popularly known as SK in the showbiz industry, admitted that they indeed consulted a lawyer.

“Yes. In fact, the lawyers, without consulting them, sila na yung nag-draft ng documents. And it reached a point wherein we gave the documents to Bea to sign,” she said.

But according to SK, Bea did not sign the documents as she considers the condition of Lolit, especially her age.

“She refused to sign it because ayaw niya… out of the goodness of her heart, ayaw niyang patulan ang matanda,” she said.

“That’s what she said. ‘Ayaw kong pumatol. Plus, what if something happens to her, baka ang mangyayari, ako pa ang sisihin,'” she added.

Meanwhile, Bea is one of the prized actresses of her generation. She is best known for her portrayals in the films One More Chance, Four Sisters and a Wedding, Eerie and to name a few.

Through the years, she has also bagged numerous awards including the title of Box Office Queen.

Last July 2021, she decided to transfer to GMA Network after almost 20 years under ABS-CBN.
