Traffic lights, traffic signals or stoplights are signaling devices positioned at road intersections, pedestrian crossings, and other locations to control flows of traffic. The different colors of lights tell drivers what to do.
The green light gives the go signal, yellow as preparatory and red for a full stop. Motorists who will ignore or disrespect the signals will be subject to corresponding sanctions and penalties.
The Facebook page “VISOR” has shared the video footage of a motorcycle rider who suddenly stopped at an intersection after a traffic light without a timer turned red. The video goes viral online and earned reactions from social media users.
In the video, it can be seen that numerous motorcycle riders along the intersection when the traffic light suddenly turns red. The lights have no timer, which causes inconvenience to the motorists passing along the road.
The traffic lights without a timer also nearly cause an accident along the road after a motorcycle rider suddenly stopped due to a sudden change of signals. Other vehicles behind the rider also stopped as a show of respect to the traffic policy.
The rider who stopped during the stop signal shows extreme obedience to the traffic rules and regulations, unlike other motorists who disrespected the traffic signals.
