Rita Avila and Elizabeth Oropesa are pitted against each other
RITA AVILA – The veteran actress denied questioning the cruel experience of Elizabeth Oropesa for being a loyalist of the Marcoses.
This after several videos on social media went viral wherein she allegedly questioned the experiences of Oropesa during the time of Ferdinand Marcos.
It can be recalled that it was just recently when Oropesa opened up about her cruel experiences during the Marcos era.
In an interview with DZRH News, Oropesa, a supporter of the Marcos family for 36 years, shared her cruel experience at the hands of those who hate the former president.
According to her, there were loyalists who also experienced suffering due to the political unrest in the country that was not written in history including herself.
Elizabeth said that she was kidnapped at the time but she knew all along who was behind it.
But according to Avila, the posts wherein she’s being pitted against Oropesa were fake.
This prompted Rita Avila to send a message to Oropesa to deny the said posts.
“It may appear na biktima ako pero in the end, ang mga biktima ay ang mga napaniwala ng mga exag na balita. Naging masama sila dahil dun eh,” Rita Avila said.
She also stressed that she cannot say anything bad against Oropesa because of her high respect to her.
“Never ako nagsalita against Ms. Oro. Magkaiba man kami ng paniniwala sa pulitika, respetado ko siya dahil maayos ang naging samahan namin sa showbusiness,” she said.
