Ang Probinsyano is an action-drama series based on the 1997 film of the same name starring Fernando Poe Jr.

It first aired on September 28, 2015, and has become the longest-running drama series on Philippine television with more than 1,500 episodes as of posting.

It premieres on Kapamilya Channel, Cine Mo!, Jeepney TV, A2Z and TV5. The series is also streamed online via iWantTFC, TFC IPTV and Kapamilya Online Live. It is also aired internationally through The Filipino Channel on cable and satellite.

It starred some of the famous actors in the country including late actress and FJP’s wife, Susan Roces.

Maja Salvador became part of the series as one of the leading ladies of Cardo Dalisay (Coco).

In the series, she portrayed the role of Glenda Corpuz, a policewoman who was linked to Cardo Dalisay.

In the coming “pambansang pagtatapos” of FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano, Maja gave a message to the viewers as well as to Coco.

“Sure ba parang matatapos ba talaga? Siyempre parang naging habit na ng mga Pinoy na every day, every night may ‘Ang Probinsyano.’ Naging parte na talaga ng buhay nila. Ngayon na matatapos na I’m sure maraming malulungkot,” she said.

According to her, the series was “episodic.”

She then congratulated the Teleserye King for the success of the series.

It was in 2016 when Maja’s character bid goodbye Ang Probinsyano.
