GRACE POE – The senator admitted that she’s affected by the ending of the top-rating series, FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

Ang Probinsyano is an action-drama series based on the 1997 film of the same name starring Fernando Poe Jr.

It first aired on September 28, 2015, and has become the longest-running drama series on Philippine television with more than 1,500 episodes as of posting.

It premieres on Kapamilya Channel, Cine Mo!, Jeepney TV, A2Z and TV5. The series is also streamed online via iWantTFC, TFC IPTV and Kapamilya Online Live. It is also aired internationally through The Filipino Channel on cable and satellite.

It starred some of the famous actors in the country including late actress and FJP’s wife, Susan Roces.

But after almost seven years of airing, the top-rating series will finally air its last episode on Friday, August 12.

The finale episode of Ang Probinsyano is dubbed as “Ang Pambansang Pagtatapos.”

Meanwhile, Senator Grace Poe admitted that she was affected by the ending of the series.

The only daughter of FPJ and Roces also thanked the cast and crew of Ang Probinsyano.

“Sa inyong paggawa ng isang dekalidad na programa na nagbigay ng pag-asa, inspirasyon, at kaligayahan sa ating mga kababayan,” she said.

She’s thankful for Coco Martin for giving a one-of-a-kind series.

The Kapamilya star was also one of the directors of Ang Probinsyano.
