After their house was ravaged by fire, Jaya is seeking financial help

JAYA – The Soul Diva is asking for financial help after their house in the US was ravaged by fire.

It was on August 8 when the veteran singer-actress shared on the social media platform, Instagram that their house in the US was hit by fire.

The fire almost ruined their 2-story house but fortunately, none was hurt in the incident though the first floor was totally burned down.

Recently, she went to Instagram wherein she sought financial help to cope with the situation.

On IG, she reposted the post of her husband Gary Gotidoc wherein he announced that they are leaving their house ravaged by fire to find a new one.

Jaya and her family have been staying in the US for good. They left the Philippines amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Jaya whose real name is Maria Luisa Ramsey-Gotidoc is a soul singer, rapper, record producer, actress, dancer, and presenter of mixed Jamaican and Visayan descent.

She was a talent of GMA Network but later transferred to ABS-CBN, where she serves as one of the head juries of the Tawag ng Tanghalan segment of the noontime variety show It’s Showtime.

She was a performer on ASAP as well.

Jaya also ventured into musical theatre, playing the role of Surpanakha in the 1999 Filipino musical Rama at Sita staged at the University Theatre.

Jaya has yet to give an update about the matter, especially where they are currently staying.
