Robin, a neophyte, led the previous senatorial election with over 26 million votes.

Robin is expected to lead the committee on constitutional amendment and public information.

Meanwhile, the actor-turned-senator gave a message to corrupt government officials.

In a statement, Padilla called corruption “heinous.”
