Diego Loyzaga was hit in the eye while playing basketball in Cebu
DIEGO LOYZAGA – The actor suffered an eye injury after playing basketball in Cebu.
Diego whose real name is Carlos Diego Loyzaga Manhilot is the son of actor Cesar Montano and actress Teresa Loyzaga.
Diego started in showbiz when he was only 15-years-old.
His first appearance on TV was via ABS-CBN’s top-rated series Mara Clara reprising the role of Derrick Gonzales originally played by Rico Yan.
Since then, he has starred in a couple of TV series such as Pusong Ligaw, Precious Hearts Romances Presents: Los Bastardos, Encounter (Philippine TV series), and to name a few.
He also starred in a string of movies including The Breakup Playlist, Death of a Girlfriend, and his latest movie, The Wife.
Meanwhile, the actor sustained an injury to his eye after playing basketball in Cebu.
He took to the image-sharing site, Instagram wherein he posted a photo of himself with an injured eye.
According to him, the injury which he called a “souvenir” was “part of the game.”
Despite being injured from the said game, Diego is looking forward to returning to Cebu to play again.
He added that the guy who hit him already apologized.
In the last part of his post, he praised Cebu airport for being “beautiful.”
Earlier, the actor responded to a netizen who commented on his post, saying: “lalo kang pumupogi.”
Diego Loyzaga, on the other hand, that it’s all because of him being “stress-free.”
His last relationship was with actress Barbie Imperial.
