Boy killed by a thief using a hammer?
HAMMER – A 13-year-old boy in Pototan, Iloilo was found dead inside their home, possibly beaten using the said tool.
The victim sustained wounds to the head and back, probably due to the beating, and next to his body was found a hammer that the perpetrator may have used.
The victim was only identified as the alias “Nonoy” of Barangay Casalsagan.
According to the victim’s father, coins were scattered from their Pisonet business. Theft is considered the motive for the crime. The victim’s father is calling for justice with regard to the killing of his son.

The first thing you need to do is to quickly verify their presence.
Next, stay calm. Before deciding what to do next, take a few deep breaths to calm your mind and body. Also, avoid grabbing a weapon unless you have tactical training in high-intensity situations.
Then, determine if you can escape. In case you can’t escape, stay put or lock yourself inside a room whether it would be inside the comfort room or bedroom.
After doing so, call the police for help. If a dispatcher asks questions or gives instructions, pay attention closely.
Last but not the least, memorize everything about the intruder such as weight, gender, height, attire, vehicle, and direction of travel. This applies to intruders you have seen.
