SASS ROGANDO SASOT – A BBM supporter and international relations expert took to social media wherein she questioned Gretchen Barretto’s educational background.

This, after the former actress, criticized Senator Bato Dela Rosa in his questioning amid the investigation of e-sabong or online sabong.

She even accused Bato of playing online sabong because of his “expensive” watch.

But according to the senator who once served as a policeman for more or less three decades, he never played e-sabong. He also explained that his watch, which he wore during a senate hearing, was only worth P85,000.

Meanwhile, Sen. Bato was defended by BBM supporter and international relations expert, Sass Rogando Sasot.

In a Facebook post, she asked: “Bato Dela Rosa has a PhD, Ms. Gretchen. Ano pong tinapos ninyo?”

Bato earned a Master of Public Administration degree in 1998 and a Ph.D. in development administration in 2006 from the University of Southeastern Philippines in Davao City.

Her post earned mixed reactions from the netizens.

Among those who commented, said: “Gen. Bato has served his country well when he was still in the Armed Forces. Well, some people are just too self-absorbed in their own insignificance.”

Based on her Facebook profile, Sass has a Combined Major in World Politics and Global Justice, magna cum laude, at Leiden University College, and a Master’s in International Relations from Leiden University.

She was also a former political columnist at The Manila Times and has taught International Relations, Diplomatic Negotiation Skills, Policy Analysis at a European university.

Gretchen Barretto has yet to issue any statement with regards to the questioning of Sasot.
