Manny Pacquiao Open To Adopting Tito Sotto as Vice Presidential Bet

Sen. Manny Pacquiao To Meet Senate Pres. Tito Sotto

MANNY PACQUIAO – The Senator and PROMDI standard-bearer said that he is open to adopting Senate President Tito Sotto as vice presidential bet.

It is more than a month now since the campaign period for the national election this coming May 9 began. Aside from the elections for the country’s next president, vice president, and senators, there will also be local polls.

One of the 10 presidential candidates in the upcoming May 2022 Election is Sen. Manny Pacquiao. His running-mate is former Manila Mayor Lito Atienza and they are running under PROMDI political party.

However, Atienza was not able to join Pacquiao in his recent campaign sorties due to a leg problem. The Senator is visiting different cities and provinces across the nation and is confident that he will get high votes in the upcoming poll.

He is open to adapting Senate Pres. Tito Sotto as his VP bet if his running-mate will not push through with his candidacy.

Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Manny Pacquiao shared that Senate Pres. Tito Sotto is the vice-presidential bet that Rep. Lito Atienza wants him to adapt in case he cannot push through with his vice-presidential bid.

The PROMDI standard-bearer stressed that he and Rep. Atienza have no problem and he will only adopt another vice-presidential bet if the former Manila Mayor will decide not to continue his VP bid.

Meanwhile, Sen. Manny Pacquiao remains optimistic that his running-mate will recover from his leg problem soon and can go back to joining their campaign sorties. He admitted that he was previously set to meet with Senate Pres. Sotto but it was postponed.

“Basta mag-uusap lang kami. Depende na kung ano yung pag-uusapan namin,” the Senator said.
