Based on a report on ABS-CBN News, Sen. Lacson stressed that he is not backing out from the presidential race. His statement came amid reports that Partido Reporma will back the presidential bid of Vice Pres. Leni Robredo.
Reportedly, the Vice President is set to meet with Davao del Norte Governor Edwin Jubahib, the secretary-general of Partido Reporma, at the provincial capitol.
Vice Pres. Robredo is running as an independent candidate in the upcoming election. The results of surveys placed her 2nd but she and her team are confident that there is still time to move, campaign, and change the numbers.
