Elderly Vendor Receives Fake P1, 000 From Customer, Kind Cop Gives Him Real Cash

FAKE MONEY – A kind cop gives cash to an elderly vendor who received fake P1, 000 from his heartless customer.

THE Facebook page “Bayan Mo, Ipatrol Mo” has shared the heartwarming photos of a kind-hearted policeman who gives cash to an elderly vendor who received fake P1, 000. The post earned praises from the online community.

The elderly man identified as lolo Pedro Salarzon gets emotional and bursts into tears after realizing that his customer paid him a fake P1, 000 bill. The incident happened at Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur.

According to the uploader Edimar Urata, he saw lolo Pedro in the market talking to a cop and other residents. Urata said that a female customer bought seedlings worth P40 from the poor grandpa.

The lady customer paid P1, 000 bill to Salarzon and the vendor immediately returned her change. Unfortunately, lolo Pedro realized that the P1, 000 is fake after taking it to another store.

Out of dismay and frustration, the senior citizen can’t help but to cry. Police Staff Sergeant Maximino Ramos was moved after hearing the vendor’s story and replaced the fake money with a real P1, 000.

Napaiyak si lolo Pedro Salarzon nang malaman na peke ang P1,000 na ibinayad sa kanya ng isang customer sa tindahan sa Sto. Domingo, Ilocos Sur.

Kuwento ni Bayan Patroller Edimar Urata, nakita niya si lolo Pedro sa palengke kausap ang isang pulis at ibang tao. Isang babae umano ang bumili ng seedlings kay lolo Pedro sa halagang P40 at agad naman niyang sinuklian ang customer. Nalaman na peke ang pera nang magpapapalit siya sa tindahan.

Nang makausap ni lolo Pedro, pinalitan ni Police Staff Sergeant Maximino Ramos ng tunay na P1,000 ang pekeng pera, na labis ikinatuwa ng matanda.”
