A few months ago, the Chinita Princess made a controversial statement during the Madlang Pi-Poll segment on It’s Showtime.

“Nakakainis ‘yun ‘no? Yung gusto mong sabuyan ng mainit na tubig kasi ang ingay.”

Eventually, that same day, she apologized and explained she didn’t mean it.

Apparently, her controversial statement has gone viral anew and has generated rude comments from other netizens.

This prompted a netizen to call her out on a micro-blogging site, Twitter, urging her to speak up.

Kim Chiu stressed that she has already issued an apology but she would do it again to clarify things.

Here are some of her Twitter posts:

This is not the first time Kim Chiu became the subject of criticism online because of her remarks on social media.

In May 2020, she made a buzz following her “bawal lumabas” rant.

This, after the shutdown of Kapamilya Network through a cease-and-desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) and Solicitor General Jose Calida.

Kim is one of the Kapamilya celebrities who reacted on the matter with her confusing comparison of the law and the ABS-CBN shutdown to classroom dynamics.

Aside from her viral “bawal lumabas” remark, she also caught the public’s attention with her bible verse mistake during the grand finals of Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 5. Eventually, she issued a public apology.
