During the grand finale of the top-trending It’s Showtime segment, Kim was talking to Vice Ganda as she took notice of the contender’s name, Psalm Manalo.

When she mentioned Psalm, she immediately quoted a bible verse. She said, “Psalm 3:16 – For God so loved the world he gave up his only son…”

Apparently, the verse she quoted was found in the Book of John chapter 3 verse 16. On the other hand, Psalms chapter 3 has only 8 verses. Therefore, there is no verse 16 in the Book of Psalms.

Vice Ganda can be heard agreeing with Kim without knowing that latter quoted a different bible passage.

Her remark earned mixed reactions from the netizens. Some criticized Kim Chiu for confidently citing a verse from the bible which is actually different. Another netizen gave a reminder to everyone on, “Wag gamitin ang bible para lang sabhin may alam. Naawa ako sa babaeng ito.”

Meanwhile, Psalm Manalo failed to clinch the title as Tawag ng Tanghalan Season 5 grand winner after earning only the eight (8) spot.

Reiven Umali, on the other hand, was declared the winner of TNT’s 5th season. He took home a total of more than 1 million pesos. Umali joins the rank of winners from season 1 namely Noven Belleza, Janine Berdin, Elaine Duran and JM Yosures.
