Kris Aquino Reacts To Rumored Reconciliation w/ Mel Sarmiento
KRIS AQUINO – The actress-TV host revealed that her elder sister tried to reach out to Mel Sarmiento and create a bridge between them.
One of the recent celebrity breakups that shocked a lot of people was the separation of Kris Aquino and Mel Sarmiento. The former couple was already engaged when they ended their relationship.
Mel was the 3rd and the final secretary of the Department of Interior of Local Government (DILG) under the term of the late former President Noynoy Aquino. The actress-TV host was vocal about her gratitude to PNoy over her relationship with Mel.
However, a few weeks ago, Kris confirmed by posting the last text message of Mel to her that they broke up. Based on the said message, the former Interior Secretary admitted that he already has a “bubble fatigue” and he does not want to put her at risk with his activities.
Mel admitted his nature that he loves to go out and he does not want to be blamed in case anything would happen to Kris. The actress-TV host has a sensitive health condition because of her auto-immune disease.
Recently, there were rumors that Kris and Mel reconciled. The actress-TV host reacted to it through a comment on the post of entertainment columnist Lolit Solis. She put down the rumors that she and her ex-fiance have reconciled.
Furthermore, Kris Aquino revealed that her sister, her “Ate”, tried to communicate with Mel Sarmiento several times to possibly create a bridge but he “snubbed” her. According to the actress-TV host, she was able to talk with him over FaceTime audio and his true feelings for her became clear.
