MANNY PACQUIAO – Will the presidential aspirant and the incumbent Senator vote for Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte for a Senate seat in the Election 2022?

Several incumbent politicians in the Philippines are running in the Election 2022. The period set by the Commission on Election (Comelec) is over and as well as the period that allows substitutions under certain provisions.

Unexpectedly, Pres. Rodrigo Roa Duterte who was previously nominated by his political party, the PDP-Laban Cusi wing, as its vice-presidential bet, is running for senator in the next poll.

Pres. Duterte did not file his Certificate of Candidacy (COC) for vice president during the filing period. Then, he announced his retirement from public service and said that he will just go home to Davao City after his term as president ends.
