It has been more than a year since Congress denied the franchise of ABS-CBN, which has led to the loss of not only its former employees but also its homegrown talents.

Among those who recently transferred to other networks are Bea Alonzo, Beauty Gonzalez, Richard Yap, Pokwang and Maja Salvador.

Currently, Maja is making rounds online after a tweet courtesy of Entertainment Uptake went viral noting that she’s said to be making a big leap from TV5 to GMA Network.

According to the unconfirmed report, she will finish her primetime series “Nina Nino” first before transferring.

Maja is said to be joining the longest-running noontime show, Eat Bulaga. Then, sign a contract with the GMA Artist Center.

Maja, whose real name is Maja Ross Andres Salvador, started her career in show business via a minor role in It Might Be You (2003–2004), starring John Lloyd Cruz and Bea Alonzo.

Then, she started to appear on the Sunday variety show, ASAP.

She also starred in some of the notable television series such as, Nagsimula sa Puso, Minsan Lang Kita Iibigin, Ina, Kapatid, Anak, The Legal Wife, Bridges of Love and FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.

In 2017, she portrayed Lily Cruz/Ivy Aguas in Wildflower which earned her national and international awards. It was followed by her role as Camila dela Torre in The Killer Bride.

In 2021, after 18 years under Star Magic, she left Star Magic to establish her own talent agency called Crown Artist Management.
