Lolit Solis: “Meron forever sa Eat Bulaga”
Veteran showbiz columnist Lolit Solis has a message on the country’s longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga on GMA-7.
In her Instagram post on Tuesday, August 25, she shared that she is happy with the program which has been making the Filipino people happy for 41 years.
“Tuwang-tuwa ako Salve sa ‘Eat Bulaga’ ‘pag nanonood ako. Imagine a show na 41 years old na at going strong pa rin hanggang ngayon,” she said.
“Imagine mo na kung may anak ka kasabay ng ‘Eat Bulaga’ magpo-fourty one years old na at baka meron ka ng apo sa anak mo ‘di ba?” she added.
Lolit added that it is difficult to match the show founded by Tito Sotto, Vic Sotto and Joey de Leon.
The columnist also mentioned that she believes there is forever in Eat Bulaga because of the good organization of the show’s hosts and staff.

“Totoo ngang family ang samahan nila to last that long. Kaya hindi kataka-taka na ganoon katibay ang samahan nila, meron forever sa Eat Bulaga, katibayan ang tagal ng programa. At katibayan ang pagsasama nilang tatlo all these years. ‘Eat Bulaga,’ icon talaga,” she said.
Eat Bulaga has been delivering a thousand and one delights throughout the country and around the world for over four decades. And even with the COVID-19 pandemic, the longest-running noontime show remains stable.
As part of their celebration, some Dabarkads revived their fond memories of their program. Some also sent greetings and messages through their social media accounts.
According to GMA Entertainment, Eat Bulaga is celebrating its 41st anniversary.
