Is Anthony Taberna a DDS?
Former ABS-CBN broadcaster Anthony Taberna has reacted after being tagged as Duterte Diehard Supporter (DDS).
In an interview with Noel Ferrer in the radio show, Ateneo Level Up! via Radyo Katipunan, Ka Tunying for the first time broken his silence over the shutdown of his home network, ABS-CBN.
According to him, the denial of the ABS-CBN franchise affected him. In fact, he even avoided watching television at the time.
Anthony Taberna also refuted accusations that he must have been happy about the non-renewal of Kapamilya Network.
“Ang sakit kaya no’n kasi hindi sila siguro nakikinig sa amin,” he said.
“While we commend the good deeds, pero kung upakan din namin ‘yung gobyerno na ‘to sa maraming pagkakataon,” he added.
Based on the report of Inquirer.net, Anthony Taberna stressed that the people who are criticizing him and Gerry Baja, his co-anchor in Dos Por Dos, had “selective listening.”
“Paano ka magpapaliwanag sa mga tao na hindi ka naman pinakikinggan?,” he said when asked why he kept mum on the accusations thrown against him.
It was just recently when Anthony Taberna and Gerry Baja signed a contract on DZRH after 17 years of being with DZMM.
