Robi Domingo: “Siyempre nakakalungkot na sa ganitong pagkakataon.”
Robi Domingo respects the decision of the former Kapamilya stars to move to other networks.
It has been more than a year since Congress denied the franchise of ABS-CBN, which has led to the loss of not only its former employees but also its homegrown talents.
Among those who recently transferred to other networks are Bea Alonzo, Beauty Gonzalez, Richard Yap, Maja Salvador, and Pokwang.
In an interview with Cinema News on July 23, Robi admitted that he felt sad about the departure of other Kapamilya stars.
“Siyempre nakakalungkot na sa ganitong pagkakataon, sa ganitong sitwasyon, di mo sila makikita muna pansamantala, lalung-lalo na sa panahon siguro na kailangan maging sandigan ka, e,” Robi said.
He added: “Dapang-dapa na, e. Nakahiga na yung istasyon. Kailangan natin ng mga kamay na maggagarantiya na, ‘Andito kami, di ka namin iiwan.'”
Robi Domingo believes that those who transferred to other networks have their own reasons.
Robi has been a Kapamilya for 13 years since he was named Second Big Placer in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus in 2008.
He is part of Star Magic, the talent management arm of ABS-CBN. He is currently being watched as the host of Game KNB? and mainstay of ASAP Natin ‘To.
