Willie Revillame: “So, pabayaan natin kung saan sila masaya, di ba?”
WILLIE REVILLAME – The Wowowin host gave a reaction to ABS-CBN stars transferring to GMA-7.
According to him, the decision of the artists to switch networks must be respected.
Among the Kapamilya stars who have moved to Kapuso Network since the pandemic are Bea Alonzo, Pokwang, Richard Yap, Beauty Gonzalez, and possibly John Lloyd Cruz.
Willie himself, who became a popular host on ABS-CBN, returned in 2015 to the Kapuso network, where he actually started.
On the July 13 episode of Kapuso afternoon game show Wowowin, he welcomed Johnny Manahan aka Mr. M on GMA-7, who’s being introduced as the new consultant of GMA Artist Center, the talent management arm of the Kapuso network.
Mr. M, a well-known star builder, is the co-founder of ABS-CBN’s talent management arm Star Magic.
When Willie Revillame welcomed Mr. M, he discussed the Kapamilya stars who have moved to his current network.
He said: “Alam mo ang dapat sa isang istasyon, nagtutulungan.”
He stressed that his program will remain open to GMA artists who want to promote their respective shows.
Then, he gave his reaction to ABS-CBN stars transferring to GMA-7.
“Hindi ito ang panahon para tayo maging… Kung magdesisyon ang mga artistang lumipat, may sari-sarili tayong buhay, sari-sariling desisyon,” he said.
He aded: “So, pabayaan natin kung saan sila masaya, di ba?”
