Kid Yambao: “Ito ang nagawa sa akin ng pandemic, nawala lahat…”
KID YAMBAO – The Hashtags member admitted in a vlog that he once turned into drugs and ran out of money after being scammed by his relative.
Kid Yambao rose to fame when he became part of the all-male group Hashtags.
Aside from dancing, he also ventured into acting and has starred in different shows such as Maalaala mo kaya, Ipaglaban mo, Wansapanataym, Be My Lady, and to name a few.
But in a vlog interview with his manager Ogie Diaz, he opened up about his experiences.
Kid shared that at an early age, he tried using drugs and it got worse when he entered showbiz.
There was even a time that he almost killed his father after being paranoid or “praning.”
Aside from that, another tragic thing that happened to him is when he was scammed by his relative, taking all the money he earned from dancing and acting.
“In-invest ko sa tiyuhin ko at ang nangyari tinakbuhan din daw siya. So nu’ng pandemic wala, as in walang raket, wala akong pera. As in nasimot lahat binigay ko lahat tapos nahuli pa si erpats,” he said while crying.
“Ito ang nagawa sa akin ng pandemic, nawala lahat ‘yung pera ko, ‘yung erpats ko (nahuli). Kaya dasal pa rin talaga,” he added.
Meanwhile, Kid is said to be trying various businesses in order to uplift himself again.
