Last year, Angelo’s family called on the police to assist them with a mental health-related incident involving the US Navy veteran.

After being detained, he lost consciousness and was rushed to a nearby hospital. But unfortunately, he passed away after three days.

According to the Quinto family who witnessed the arrest, a police officer kneeled on him while being handcuffed.

The mother of Angelo witnessed the incident and said Angelo was pleading for his life when the incident took place.

Meanwhile, the family’s lawyer- civil rights attorney John Burris, released a cellphone video of the said incident.

In the video, police can be seen removing Angelo from the house. He was unconscious at the time.

Apparently, it took about a month before the authorities acknowledged the death of the US Navy veteran. The incident is currently under investigation.
