Jelai Andres: “Nagka-COVID po kaming lahat”
JELAI ANDRES – The Kapuso comedienne and vlogger revealed that she and her family were once infected with coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
In her latest vlog on the video-sharing platform, YouTube, Jelai shared her struggles with the dreaded virus.
According to her, it was in October last year when she and her family found out that they are positive for COVID-19.
Jelai Andres noted that she might have contracted the virus when people have been allowed to go out of their respective homes after months of lockdown.
She also received lots of offers and rackets at the time.
Jelai Andres cited in particular that she got the disease from her frontliner cousin.
“Isa sa pinaka, pinaka, pinakakinakatakot ko nangyari sa amin at hindi n’yo alam. Hindi ko nai-share, hindi ko shinare sa inyo is nagka-COVID po kaming lahat. Kaming lahat,” she said.
“Alam mo ‘yun, pinakadadasal mo na huwag kayo magkaroon pero ang hirap kasi sobrang nakakatakot talaga,” she added.
Jelai also shared some video clips wherein she can be seen fighting the killer virus.
The popular vlogger shared that she was deeply affected by the virus. She also felt almost all the symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, difficulty breathing, and body aches.
At press time, she’s okay and has fully recovered and already returned to work.
