#WalangPasok: Class Suspension for Nov. 11 Due to Tropical Storm Ulysses

Several local government units (LGUs) and schools announced a class suspension on Wednesday, November 11, 2020, due to Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses.

Here are the following areas wherein classes were suspended:

LGUs in Metro Manila:

  • Parañaque City: all levels, public and private
  • Pasig City: all levels
  • Taguig City: kindergarten to high school

LGUs in Provinces:

  • Plaridel, Bulacan: face-to-face classes, online classes, other blended learning modalities in all levels
  • Cagayan: all levels, public and private
  • Camarines Norte: all levels, public and private, until lifted
  • Camarines Sur: all levels, public and private, until Nov. 15; no work in government offices until lifted

Schools:

  • Ateneo de Manila University: kindergarten to high school
  • OB Montessori Center: Advanced Casa to Grade 12
  • Quezon City Academy: online classes
  • San Sebastian Cathedral School of Tarlac: kindergarten to high school, synchronous and asynchronous classes

Meanwhile, Severe Tropical Storm Ulysses further intensifies and is nearing the typhoon category.

It is traversing Westward at 20 kilometers per hour and has a maximum sustained winds of 110 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 135 km/h.

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal (TCWS) 2 and 1 have been raised in various parts of the country particularly in Luzon due to the severe tropical storm.
