Kapuso actor-turned-pilot Kevin Santos shared the story behind 500 pesos that paved his way of becoming successful.
Kevin Santos rose to fame when he joined the GMA-7 reality competition, StarStruck.
He was included in the Final 14 of StarStruck wherein Ryza Cenon and Mike Tan won as the Ultimate Survivors.
In a lengthy caption via his Instagram post, the 34-year-old actor recalled how his career started.

According to him, it was in 2007 when he auditioned StarStruck and during that time, he’s accompanied by his father Obet Santos, lining up to gain an audition spot.
He then told PEP.ph that the money he brought during the audition was only 500 pesos (200 for fueling their vehicle and 300 for snacks).
It took him 20 hours before he finally had his audition at around 10:30 to 11:00 pm.
Eventually, he was able to enter StarStruck but failed to clinch at the final round after being eliminated.
He then ventured acting with his first TV appearance via a Maynila episode.

After some time, he was able to finish his studies, and now, he is a registered pilot.
