Typhoon Bising updates as of 11 AM today
PAGASA announced via its latest bulletin issued at 11 AM today, April 19, 2021, that Typhoon Bising maintains its strength as it slowly moves north-northwestward.
It is traversing North Northwestward slowly and has maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h.
At 10:00 AM today, the center of the eye of Typhoon Bising was located at 235 km East Northeast of Virac, Catanduanes or 360 km East of Daet, Camarines Norte (14.3 °N, 126.3 °E ).
The following areas are under Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal no. 1:
LUZON – Catanduanes, the eastern portion of Camarines Sur (Garchitorena, Presentacion, Caramoan, Sagnay, San Jose, Lagonoy), the eastern portion of Albay (Tiwi, Malinao, Tabaco City, Malilipot, Santo Domingo, Bacacay, Rapu-Rapu, Legazpi City, Manito), and the eastern and central portions of Sorsogon (Castilla, Sorsogon City, Prieto Diaz, Gubat, Barcelona, Casiguran, Juban, Magallanes, Bulan, Bulusan, Irosin, Santa Magdalena, Matnog)
VISAYAS – Northern Samar, Samar, Eastern Samar, and Biliran
According to PAGASA, the next update about Typhoon Bising will be issued at 5 PM today.
