YAM CONCEPCION – The ‘Init sa Magdamag’ star defended Gerald Anderson over comments about him being “hindi loyal” and “matinik sa babae.”
In a presscon, the actress talked about her newest leading man.
It can be recalled that recently, the two made a buzz online following their intense scenes in the trailer of the romantic-drama series.
Gerald’s appearance on the show was then hurled with criticisms online with some claiming that he’s not loyal and even tagged him as “matinik sa babae.”
Netizens might have prompted to air as such following the revelation of his ex-girlfriend Bea Alonzo who said that the actor cheated on her.
Meanwhile, Yam Concepcion has defended the actor against those saying he’s not loyal and “matinik sa babae.”
“Nababasa ko yung mga comments and nakakatuwa and nakakatawa na makita yung mga reaction nila sa scene drop namin ni Gerald at saka yung trailer. Nakakatawa kasi sabi ng mga netizens, ‘Oy Yam mag-ingat ka kay Gerald ah.’ Hindi ko naman kailangan mag-ingat kasi nung nakilala ko si Gerald madaming hindi nakakaalam, share ko na, kasi pag nakikita nila sa TV sinasabi nila matinik sa babae or hindi loyal, ganyan. Pero hindi eh, pag katrabaho mo si Gerald he’s very professional at saka very gentleman. Hindi niya pinaramdam sa akin na may malisiya or what. it’s just purely work and despite it being purely work, naparamdam niya sa akin yung emotion sa work. I still felt his honesty bilang yung si Tupe yung character niya,” she said.
Init sa Magdamag which also stars JM De Guzman premieres on Monday, April 19 via A2Z and TV5.
