IATF Allows PRC to Facilitate Board Exams in May and June 2021, Malacañang Palace Says

On Friday (March 26, 2021), Palace spokesman Harry Roque announced that the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases approved the request of PRC to facilitate licensure examinations.
IATF approved the request of PRC after last year’s board examinations have been postponed and rescheduled from January to March 2021. The postponement of the examinations have been made to avoid mass gatherings.
“Inaprubahan din po ng IATF ang request ng Professional Regulation Commission na magsagawa ng licensure examinations for professionals sa Mayo at Hunyo ngayong taon habang istriktong ipinatutupad ang health protocols ng Department of Health,” Roque said.
Here is the list of licensure exams scheduled in May and June 2021:

- Dentists
- Chemical Engineers
- Certified Public Accountants
- Nurses
- Physical therapists
- Naval Architects and Marine Engineers
- Criminologists
- Architects
- Interior designer
- Others exams
Examinees from areas under general community quarantine are advised not to take the board exams in MGCQ areas. PRC is also planning to shift the pen-and-paper tests online amid the coronavirus pandemic.
