New Confirmed Coronavirus Patients Includes Doctor in Iran
DOCTOR IN IRAN – The country’s health minister confirmed that a doctor in Araq tested positive for the novel coronavirus.
The novel coronavirus or officially called as COVID-19 left more than a thousand death in China as of this writing. With regards to the infected individuals in the mainland China, the count has surpassed 60,000 and Wuhan City is now under a lock-down.
Several other countries also got confirmed cases of coronavirus. One of those with confirmed cases of the said contagious disease is Iran.
The first coronavirus deaths in the Middle East were also recorded in Iran. The patients were at their old age were made it hard for them to surpass the disease.
Recently, the adviser to the health ministry of Iran gave an update regarding the coronavirus cases in the country. It has increased.
Speaking to Al Jazeera, Alireza Vahabzadeh revealed that a doctor in Iran was confirmed positive for coronavirus. The said doctor is residing in Araq.
“It remains unclear where the virus in Iran has come,” Vahabzadeh expressed according to the report. Aside from the doctor, there are also confirmed cases in Qom.
In line with the cases of coronavirus in Iran, some schools in Qom have reportedly suspended classes to curb its spread. The health ministry adviser also suggests the people to limit their movements in religious sites.
